In this par­tic­u­lar case, there were many changes made to the cho­sen accent col­ors. Our on-site fore­man helped nav­i­gate the changes seam­less­ly, keep­ing the project rolling for­ward on time.

In total, we paint­ed 7 dif­fer­ent accent walls in addi­tion to a vari­ety of oth­er sur­faces, including:

• New and exist­ing walls
• Ceil­ing
• Sof­fits
• Exposed deck­ing (while pro­tect­ing the ductwork)
• Primed and paint­ed wood doors and door frames

Our prod­uct of choice was an envi­ron­men­tal­ly-friend­ly, low-odor inte­ri­or paint from Sher­win Williams.

Paint­ing CMU Exte­ri­or Walls

We began by pow­er wash­ing the CMU (con­crete mason­ry unit) walls, remov­ing any loose debris, dirt, or oth­er con­t­a­m­i­nants that could have com­pro­mised adhe­sion. Next, we applied a basecoat of Lox­on mason­ry primer as a foun­da­tion for the top­coat to come. For a clean, mod­ern fin­ish, we topped the exte­ri­or with a gray A‑100 paint in satin.

In this case we installed a wood grain look-alike. Our on-staff pro­fes­sion­als hung it flaw­less­ly, cre­at­ing just the look our client wanted.
