Interior and Exterior Warehouse Painting in Cumberland, RI

Posted on Wednesday, October 15, 2014

We recently were asked to paint both the interior and exterior of a 260,000 square-foot warehouse in Cumberland, RI, and its 93,000 square-foot addition as well. Because of our large number of field personnel (we have over 80), we can tackle commercial painting jobs of this size easily and efficiently.

And so, we got to work!

Fresh Colors for a Commercial Environment

A lot of people mistakenly think that paint is for aesthetics only (although who doesn’t like a bright, fresh, maintained environment?). In reality, the paint in your warehouse serves a vital purpose as a barrier, providing a buffer of protection between exposed surfaces and the exterior elements that work against them 24/7. The elements might be weather related or, especially in commercial and industrial settings, could be due to the environment (fumes, chemicals, spills, wear and tear, etc…). Because of this, it’s important that not just any paint is used for your project, but the right kind that will work the longest and hardest for you.

For this particular warehouse, we used the following:

You may have noticed that we used dryfall paint. In case you haven’t heard of it, dryfall is an ideal product to use for painting ceilings especially. It includes an agent that allows it to dry incredibly fast, so that any excess residue that might escape during the spraying process dries instantaneously and is able to be cleaned up easily and quickly.
